Leaked (unconfirmed) 2016 calendar
Formula 1 is heading to Baku in July next season, according to a leaked but 'not yet' approved 21-race calendar. Following on from news that next year's Championship will only get underway in April, the latest start to a season since 1988, a full version of the proposed calendar is out. Formula One Management has been quick to stress that the calendar has yet to be confirmed. FOM said in a statement: 'It would appear that the proposed 2016 calendar has been leaked. This calendar has not yet been approved.' As it stands, the season will kick off in Australia on 3 April before heading to China the following weekend.
