Van Der Garde/Manor link played down by manager

Despite having had a contract to race this season with Sauber this season, Dutchman Giedo van der Garde found himself ousted – but rumours are linking him to a seat with Manor at Monaco in May. His manager Jan Paul ten Hoopen has played down the rumours, that if true would see Roberto Merhi being sidelined. Merhi's contract terms only covered him driving for the ‘opening rounds' of this season, and the Spaniard is not believed to have brought any sponsorship money with him to the team. On Friday, Hoopen told press that his priority was securing his client a competitive seat in either DTM or endurance racing for 2016, although confirming that Manor had been in talks with them....
