Horner: ‘Renault engine forces us to run compromised car'

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner's war of words against embattled engine supplier Renault has continued after the Bahrain Grand Prix, which saw Daniel Ricciardo lose yet another engine, this time in spectacular fashion as he crossed the line. 'We are running the car in such a compromised state that we are not in an optimum window,' Horner said. 'Our top speeds are down, then you end up trimming wing out to try and get somewhere sensible, then that hampers things like tyre warm-up and downforce.'
