Pirelli to take super-soft to Monaco, Canada, Austria
Pirelli has confirmed the tyre compounds it will provide for the upcoming four grands prix in Spain, Monaco, Canada and Austria. Mirroring the selections made for last year's events, the Spanish Grand Prix will see drivers once again using the 'orange hard' and 'white medium' compounds since the Barcelona circuit is known for the high-energy loads placed on the tyres. The following low-speed race in Monaco will see the first appearance of the 'red' super-soft tyres and the yellow soft tyre, a choice that will be replicated at the Gilles Villeneuve Circuit in Montreal and the Red Bull Ring in Austria.
