More engine woe for Red Bull in Bahrain

Daniel Ricciardo only just managed to cross the finish line in Bahrain following yet another power unit failure. The Australian came home in a respectable 6th place, 17.7 seconds behind the 5th placed Sebastian Vettel, although he was just over a minute behind the race winner Lewis Hamilton. When asked by Sky Sports F1 if he had lost another engine, Ricciardo replied: “I don’t know, there was a lot of smoke so it didn’t look great. The bright side is I just got over the line, but literally out of the last corner I saw smoke everywhere. It didn’t look good so let’s see what happened.
