Rosberg sets pace in second practice
Mercedes AMG Petronas Nico Rosberg set the pace during the second practice session for the Bahrain Grand Prix, which took place under the lights at Sakhir. Rosberg set a time of 1:34.647 to beat Mercedes team-mate Lewis Hamilton by a tenth of a second during low-fuel runs on Option tyres, with the Briton locking-up on his hot lap. Kimi Räikkönen was third for Ferrari as team-mate Sebastian Vettel had a messy session despite setting the fourth quickest time. Vettel went wide early on in the session while towards the end of running he made contact with Sergio Pérez at Turn 1, bringing out the red flag.
