Ricciardo targets improving race starts

Red Bull/Getty Images Red Bull driver Daniel Ricciardo says that he has to work on his race starts after he dropped down the order at the Chinese Grand Prix. Race starts were occasionally a weakness for the Australian driver in 2014 but last weekend Ricciardo dropped 10 places on the opening lap in China, restricting his prospects of finishing higher than ninth place. Ricciardo, who lost a position off the line in Australia but maintained his grid slot in Malaysia, says that it is an area where he needs to work.
