Renault 'understand' Red Bull's pain

Just days after the latest Red Bull quit threat, Renault's Cyril Abiteboul says he understands Dietrich Mateschitz's 'position and frustration.' In the wake of the Malaysian GP, the Red Bull owner once again threatened to walk away from F1. He told the Austrian Press Agency that he will 'only stay in Formula One if we have a competitive team, and we need a competitive power unit for that.' However, instead of the team recording a good result at the next race, Red Bull's woes were compounded.
