Maldonado: I was struggling with the brakes

+ Pastor Maldonado says he was battling a brake issue when he locked-up as he attempted to enter the pits during the Chinese Grand Prix. Maldonado, who ran as high as seventh after strong start to the race, ran straight on at the pit entry during his second stop, dropping well outside of the points. The Venezuelan, attempting to recover lost ground, battled with Jenson Button in the closing stages of the race, but suffered damage after he was rear-ended by the McLaren racer into Turn 1, forcing him to retire. “I made a great start and we were running strongly early on however later I had a braking issue which made it harder to battle,” he said. “We also have to understand why the...
