Button penalised for Maldonado clash

c during the Chinese Grand Prix. The Brit as dropped from 13th to 14th in the Chinese GP results. On lap 49 the Button tried to overtake inside at Turn 1 and made contact with the rear of the Maldonado’s car. The Venezuelan, was sent into a spin and finally forced to retire from the race, while Button was able to continue and take the chequered flag in 13th. Button admitted his own error had caused the collision when he was summoned by the stewards. 'The driver of car 22 [Button] admitted that he had made a mistake and had caused a collision with car 13 [Maldonado] in Turn 1,' read a short note from the stewards. Manor Marussia Roberto Merhi, meanwhile, was also docked two penalty...
