Crash costs Massa new Williams front wing

Felipe Massa's accident during second practice for the Chinese Grand Prix cost the Brazilian the only new front wing the Williams team had for him. Massa lost control of his car under braking after the back straight during the second session, and although he avoided a big crash, he touched the barriers enough to damage the front wing. Williams had brought an updated version for the Shanghai race, but it was the only one available for Massa. The Williams driver said the accident was caused by the rear wing stalling under braking.
