McLaren: Progress will be less obvious in China and Bahrain

+ Eric Boullier says he does not expect to see McLaren make the same sort of jump in performance at the upcoming races in China and Bahrain as it did in Malaysia. Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button both raced briefly inside the tail end of the points before they were forced to retire from the Malaysian Grand Prix, but Boullier doubts McLaren will be so strong in China, given the nature of the circuit. “We came away from the Malaysian Grand Prix weekend feeling optimistic about our state of development and the improvements we’d made relative to our closest rivals,” he said. “However, we don’t take anything for granted, and are fully aware that the next two races probably won’t...
