Renault targets higher top speeds for China

Renault Sport F1 director of operations, Remi Taffin, is optimistic of Renault being more competitive at this weekend's Chinese Grand Prix, particularly in the straight line speed contest. As engine suppliers to Red Bull Racing and Toro Rosso, they've come under fire during the first couple of races this season, after failing to bridge the gap between themselves and their main rivals; Mercedes and Ferrari. Taffin, however, is confident that progress is being made and a conservative, reliability-driven approach in Malaysia restricted their performance.
