Sainz expecting familiar tests in debut Chinese GP

Carlos Sainz anticipates the Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix to throw up similar challenges from winter testing rather than what his Toro Rosso team has worked with in the opening two rounds. The 20-year-old driver has enjoyed a solid start to his F1 career with two points finishes in Australia and Malaysia. The Spaniard is expecting a different test altogether at the Shanghai International Circuit, with a lot more pressure on the front end of the car and the front tyres. The young driver has never raced at the Chinese circuit but is excited ahead of his debut in Shanghai with Toro Rosso. “It's a very special and unusual circuit according to what the team engineers tell me,” Sainz said....
