Pirelli confident of soft and medium compounds for China

Speaking in Pirelli's preview of this weekend's Chinese GP, Paul Hembery believes the teams will be on two stop strategies assuming a normal race, and says the softer compounds for China could handle higher temperatures if needed.  “The weather tends to be quite unpredictable in China, although generally we can expect to see temperatures that are significantly cooler than those we experienced in Malaysia.' said Paul. The Malaysian Grand Prix saw incredible track temperatures of over 60 degrees centigrade over the weekend, meaning that there was immense pressure put on the medium and hard compound tyres that the manufacturer rolled out for Sepang.
