Jorda says F1 series for women would be "fantastic"

Lotus development driver Carmen Jorda believes a Formula 1-style championship only for women would be a "fantastic" idea. Although the idea, proposed by Formula 1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone during the Malaysian Grand Prix, has received a mixed response, Jorda reckons it would be highly popular. Jorda believes the championship could help women get into motorsport, as she thinks men are trying to push female racers down.
