Marko and Tost say Verstappen has silenced age critics

Both Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko and Toro Rosso principal Franz Tost are united in their praise of 17 year-old Max Verstappen, claiming the young Dutchman's composed and competitive debut races should silence critics of youngsters entering Formula One. 'The maturity of our two young drivers is probably no longer in question,' Marko said. 'You have to question this rule: we did nothing reckless…and at every point he was competitive from the beginning.'
