Arrivabene: Ferrari like 'a perfect Italian watch' in Malaysia

If Ferrari’s turnaround took the Formula One paddock by surprise during winter testing, then their disassembling of Mercedes today would have left many experts catatonic. Team principal Maurizio Arrivabene and technical director James Allison’s demeanour after the race was a mixture of pleasant surprise and quiet confidence on scoring a win so early in the season. “Yesterday after qualifying I was partly unhappy and partly not”, said Arrivabene. “Today during the brief I saw the strategy and suddenly the race was becoming very, very clear and I said ‘ha-ha’.
