McLaren drivers say pace 'a nice surprise'

– Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button say that McLaren-Honda's raw pace during the Malaysian Grand Prix came as "a nice surprise".Although both drivers were eliminated in Q1 in qualifying, they climbed up the order to hold points-paying positions early on in the race.But technical trouble halted their challenge, with Alonso (ERS cooling) having to retire his car after 17 laps, and Button (turbo) after 41."This whole weekend has been better than I expected," said Alonso."The main positive to take away from today is the fact that we were able to run with other cars – Jenson and I weren't simply fighting with each other."That was the first step we needed to...
