Grosjean 11th as Maldonado gets another penalty
Romain Grosjean finished just shy of the points whilst Pastor Maldonado had to retire from a rather frustrating Malaysian Grand Prix at Sepang International Circuit. Romain Grosjean ran as high as third during the race, but later traffic and an induced 360° spin meant a P11 finish. Pastor Maldonado suffered from a first lap puncture then had to retire nine laps from the chequered flag due to a braking issue. Maldonado was also handed another 3 penalty points (8 points total for the 12 month period) on his superlicense and a 10-second time penalty for not staying about the target time set for running under the safety car.
