Monaco Formula E circuit revealed

The circuit layout for the first Monaco ePrix was revealed today with the series set to tackle a shortened version of the historic venue. The circuit will be reduced from 3.34 to 2.76km and consist of just twelve corners instead of the usual nineteen. The new layout will miss out the Massenet, Casino, Mirabeau and Portier corners, as well as the Grand Hotel Hairpin and the tunnel section. The race will be round seven of calendar, be free for spectators to watch and takes place on May 9th.
