Ericsson delighted with top ten result

Marcus Ericsson was delighted with his weekend's efforts after achieving a top-ten qualifying position for the first time in his career. In a mixed day for the Sauber duo it was Marcus Ericsson who ended the day in the better mood after making through to Q3 for the first time in his career. The Swede is now aiming for a second consecutive points finish after giving Sauber back-to-back Q3 finishes, after Felipe Nasr achieved the feat in Melbourne. 'It has been a great weekend so far!' said Ericsson. 'I was able to finish every session in a top ten position, and we can be satisfied to have repeated that in Qualifying.
