Jolyon Palmer to get FP1 run in China

GP2 Series champion Jolyon Palmer will make his F1 race weekend debut at the Chinese Grand Prix with an FP1 run for Lotus at the Shanghai International Circuit. The Englishman was signed as Lotus' test and reserve driver following his title-winning success in the feeder series last year and received a run in the E23 during pre-season testing in Spain. For China, Palmer will drive the car again during FP1 and will continue to assist in technical briefings with race drivers Romain Grosjean and Pastor Maldonado. “I am really pleased that I will be back in the car for practice in China.
