Palmer to make FP1 debut for Lotus in China
Jolyon Palmer has confirmed that he will make his F1 race weekend debut in first practice for the Chinese Grand Prix. It will be the Englishman's second time driving the Lotus E23, having completed 77 laps behind the wheel of the car on day two of the second pre-season test. The 2014 GP2 champion tested for Force India at the end of last season, before being announced as reserve and test driver at Lotus. He is set to take part in several FP1 sessions for the Enstone-based outfit during the 2015 season, with the first being at the Shanghai International Circuit.
