Alonso feeling good and ‘ready to go'

Fernando Alonso has thanked Kevin Magnussen for standing in for him in Australia, but says he is fully recovered and ready to race in Malaysia. Alonso has spent the last number of weeks recovering from a heavy testing crash he suffered during the first Barcelona test last month. Briefly knocked unconscious, Fernando was concussed and ended up sitting out the Australian Grand Prix on medical advice. He was replaced by Kevin Magnussen, who retired before the race began with an engine failure, and Fernando said 'I’d like to say thanks to Kevin for his efforts over the weekend, and it’s a real shame he wasn’t able to get to the grid.' before elaborating that he was always communicating...
