Pirelli expecting new lap records in 2015

Pirelli say they have changed the rear structure of their 2015 P-Zero range in expectation of new lap records at some circuits this season. Aside from circuits that have been introduced over the past number of seasons, most of the existing lap records were set in the early 2000s, most notably 2004. This was when Formula 1 cars were at their peak of performance, with V10 power, massive amounts of aerodynamic grip and the height of a tyre war between Michelin & Bridgestone.
