Alonso will race in Malaysia says manager

Fernando Alonso's manager says the McLaren-Honda driver will be back in action in Malaysia next weekend. "Fernando will be in Malaysia," Luis Garcia-Abad announced to the Spanish press early on Saturday. It is known that the 33-year-old driver, who sat out the Melbourne season opener last weekend after his mysterious Barcelona testing crash a month ago, will undergo official FIA medical tests on Sunday. A representative of Garcia-Abad was quoted by AS sports newspaper: "Fernando is well and he will pass the tests for sure, it is a mere formality."
