German Grand Prix dropped

The FIA announced on Friday that there will be no German GP this year, reducing the season's F1 calendar to 19 races. Final confirmation came after a meeting of the governing body's World Motor Sport Council in Geneva. However, the writing had been on the wall for some time. Although the Nurburgring had been scheduled to host this year's race, which was scheduled for July 17-19, long-standing financial problems intervened. Loading markets...
