FIA confirms no German GP in 2015

Formula One's ruling body, the FIA, has confirmed there will be no German Grand Prix this year. Its absence means there will be no Formula One race in Germany for the first time since 1960, and that the 2015 calendar is reduced to 19 grands prix. "The German Grand Prix has been withdrawn as the CRH (Commercial Rights Holder) and promoter did not reach agreement," said the FIA. The Nurburgring circuit was scheduled to host this year's race on July 19, after Hockenheim hosted it last season.
