Fangio made the switch following Mercedes' departure from the sport, while Musso moved over after sporadic appearances for Maserati. The pair started the 1956 Argentine Grand Prix with their own cars, but when Fangio's fuel pump gave up, he took over Musso's entry. Having rejoined in fifth place, Fangio soon made his way past...
