Bottas: Progress being made with back injury

Valtteri Bottas says he is making daily progress with the back injury that forced him to miss the F1 2015 season opener in Australia. The Finn was deemed unfit to race by the FIA after developing back pain during qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix. He was checked at the Albert Park Circuit Medical Centre, before being transferred to the Albert Hospital in Melbourne for precautionary scans. Williams confirmed that he had suffered an annular tear in his lower back. Bottas was unable to compete in Australia and because he took part in qualifying, finishing Q3 in sixth place, Williams only raced with Felipe Massa. He is now working hard to recover in time for the second round of the 2015...
