Hamilton leads home Melbourne Mercedes 1-2 – Race Report

Lewis Hamilton has won the Australian Grand Prix. He lead home team-mate Nico Rosberg, while Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel took a maiden Ferrari podium on his debut for the team. It was a consummate display of domination from the Mercedes men, who easily won a straightforward race. Prior to the race getting going, three drivers were sidelined through various issues. Valtteri Bottas was unable to start the race due to his back injury preventing him from completing the necessary FIA extraction tests.
