McLaren ‘enormously dissatisfied' with dismal qualifying
The legendary McLaren-Honda partnership made its 21st century competitive debut at a Grand Prix today, and will start from the back row of the grid after a dismal showing. “I need hardly say that everyone at McLaren-Honda is enormously dissatisfied with today’s qualifying result.' said Eric Boullier after his drivers could only manage P17 & P18 during qualifying. This means, due to Manor's failure to qualify, that it's an all McLaren back row to start the season. Neither driver had shown any sort of performance during Q1, and ended three seconds off the pace of the frontrunners during the session.
