Kaltenborn not considering resigning over van der Garde case
Sutton Images Enlarge Monisha Kaltenborn says she has not considered resigning over the legal battle that has overshadowed Sauber's first weekend of the new season in Australia. Giedo van der Garde took the team to court this week in Australia to try to enforce a previous judgement in Switzerland that he was legally entitled to a race seat at the team this season. He won the case on Wednesday but due to a lack of superlicence he was not able to take part in Friday's free practice. A contempt of court hearing will now drag on into Saturday, although the cars were able to hit the track for the first time in second practice after sitting out of FP1.
