Van der Garde wins case against Sauber

Sauber F1 Team Giedo van der Garde has won his legal battle against Sauber after the judge at the Victorian Supreme Court ruled in his favour. Van der Garde took the squad to court ahead of this weekend's Australian Grand Prix, claiming that he held a valid contract to race in 2015 and that an arbitration institution in Switzerland had ruled in his favour. The hearing was held on Monday and during a 10 minute session on Wednesday, the Justice Croft ruled in Van der Garde's favour, saying that his application was successful and will be enforced.
