Roberto Merhi to debut in Australia with Manor

Just days before the opening Grand Prix of the 2015 Formula 1 season, the Manor F1 Team have announced that Roberto Merhi as their second driver. The Spaniard, who ran three free practice sessions last season in Italy, Japan and Russia with the now-defunct Caterham F1 Team, will join the already confirmed Will Stevens in the team. In a tweet on his official Twitter account, Merhi thanked Manor for giving him the opportunity to race in Melbourne. “I will like to thank @ManorF1Team for the opportunity and I hope to pay back the hard work of the team with a solid weekend! #TeamMerhi” Merhi was a championship contender driving for Zeta Corse in the Formula Renault 3.5 Series in 2014,...
