Mallya: Force India not dwelling on difficult winter

Force India team owner Vijay Mallya remains upbeat for the start of the 2015 Formula 1 season in Australia on Sunday despite his team enduring a difficult winter. Financial constraints meant that the team was unable to debuts its new car, the VJM08, until the final pre-season test in Barcelona. Despite having just two-and-a-half days of track time, drivers Nico Hulkenberg and Sergio Perez still managed 365 laps with the new car, just 15 less than McLaren managed across all three tests. Mallya has his sights firmly set on the start of the season in Australia, and says that Force India is not dwelling on the challenges it faced over the winter.
