McLaren: Alonso memory loss normal

McLaren have confirmed that Fernando Alonso did suffer a 'loss of temporary memory' in the wake of his Barcelona testing shunt. The double World Champion hit the wall at Turn 3 on the final day of the penultimate test. He was taken to the track's medical centre before being airlifted to hospital where he spent three nights. Information about the Spaniard's crash has been scares leading to conjecture and speculation. However, a report in Spain's El Pais that he woke in 1995 have been confirmed by McLaren.
