Bottas, Williams end pre-season F1 testing on top

Valtteri Bottas has brought twelve days of pre-season testing to a close ahead of the 2015 Formula 1 World Chammpionship season with the quickest time of the final day around the Circuit de Catalunya. The Williams Martini Racing driver elevated himself to the top of the timesheets ahead of the lunchtime break with a time of 1min 23.063secs on the super-soft tyres, before the team opted to finish its programme with 90mins remaining on the clock. Nonetheless, it was a benchmark that would remain steadfast all the way to the final chequered flag as teams spent the afternoon fine tuning their packages and focusing on fewer performance related runs over the final four hours.
