Sainz ready and waiting for Formula 1 debut
+ Carlos Sainz Jr. says he is ready for his Formula 1 debut with Toro Rosso after completing his pre-season testing programme on Saturday. Sainz completed 132 laps at the wheel of the STR10 on the penultimate day of running at the Circuit de Catalunya ahead of the 2015 season-opener in Australia. The Spaniard posted a late lap of 1:24.191 to end his final day in the car ahead of his maiden start fourth on the timesheets. “This was the sort of day we needed and it went really well,” he said. “It means we can go to Melbourne with a boost to our confidence. “This afternoon was particularly productive, after we had a couple of minor difficulties in the morning. “The race simulation...
