McLaren calls early halt to testing programme

+ McLaren has been forced to call an early halt to its running on the penultimate day of pre-season testing in Barcelona. The team made an apparent breakthrough on day two, as Jenson Button completed 101 laps at the wheel of the Honda-powered MP4-30, but Kevin Magnussen just managed just 39 laps on Saturday before encountering an oil leak. An oil leak has stopped play, so that's a wrap for today. We’ll be back tomorrow for more #F1Testing. — McLaren (@McLarenF1) February 28, 2015 Despite the early stoppage, Magnussen was pleased with his first day at the wheel of the MP4-30 this year.
