Symonds supportive of Manor revival
– Williams' Chief Technical Officer Pat Symonds says it will be a boost for Formula 1 if Manor can make it to the grid for the season-opening Australian Grand Prix in two weeks' time.Symonds acted as a consultant for the team, under its Marussia guise, between 2011 and 2013 prior to his move to Williams, and compared it to the Toleman squad of the early 1980s."I'm really pleased to see that they're going to make it to Melbourne, I think we need teams like that," he said."[In] 1981, I started in a little team called Toleman.
