Lotus names Carmen Jorda as development driver

Lotus Lotus announced Carmen Jorda as its development driver for the 2015 Formula One season handing the Spaniard an opportunity to drive the F1 car later in the year. Jorda will attend Grands Prix and tests throughout the season and will also carry out a significant simulator programme at the team's base in Enstone. Her appointment, however, is questionable as the 26-year-old has not only failed to clinch a title in the various single-seater championships she has participated in but she has also failed to win even a single a race in the last ten years.
