McLaren's day concludes early due to hydraulic leak

Not for the first time, McLaren have brought their day of testing to a premature end after a hydraulic leak. Jenson Button had taken the wheel of the MP4/30 this morning as McLaren returned to the track after a curtailed final day of the second test, due to Fernando Alonso's unexplainable crash. He completed just seven laps in the morning session, with a fastest time of 1.31.4 almost seven seconds off the pace of Lewis Hamilton. With no sign of Jenson re-emerging on track in the immediate preceding hours before lunch, Ron Dennis confirmed in a press conference that their running was being compromised by an engine problem.
