Force India confirms Friday PM debut for VJM08

Force India has confirmed its much delayed VJM08 will get its first run on Friday afternoon with Nico Hulkenberg set to the turn its first wheel on the second day of pre-season testing. The team had set itself the target of getting out on Friday morning with the new Mercedes-powered car, but it now predicts the car won't be ready until the afternoon now. When it does emerge, Hulkenberg will be in the driving seat on Saturday as well, with Perez in for the Sunday. It means Force India will have just over two days to get the car in working order before it is sent out to Australia for the opening round of the season at Albert Park.
