Massa: Verstappen amazing but too early for F1

Felipe Massa says Max Verstappen has been promoted to Formula 1 'too early', suggesting he should be included within the FIA's new Superlicence regulations if its introduction is to prevent a repeat of his rapid rise in the future. Verstappen is set to make history when he makes his F1 debut in Australia next month, the Dutchman – son of former F1 driver Jos – on course to become the youngster driver to start a race at just 17 years-old. Arguably more contentious than his age, however, is Verstappen's relative experience as he prepares to compete in F1 with just one season of single-seater racing in the European Formula 3 Championship behind him.
