Fontana joins Status for 2015 GP3 season

Lotus F1 junior team driver Alex Fontana will race for Status Grand Prix in the GP3 series in 2015. The Swiss racer will enter his third year in the championship, having finished in 11th position last season. Fontana, who has three podium finishes in GP3, is the first Status driver to be confirmed for 2015. "In the previous seasons I've already shown I can be fast, but in GP3 this is not enough," said Fontana. "The level is very high, track time is not much, and you have to give 110% from the first lap.
