Alonso to be kept in overnight as crash compromises Day 4

Following his testing crash today, Fernando Alonso will be kept in hospital overnight as a precaution. Fernando Alonso suffered a bizarre crash during testing today, which saw the two time World Champion crash his MP4/30 into the wall on the inside of Turn 4. It was a relatively low speed accident, with Sebastian Vettel who was following the McLaren estimating a speed of around 150kph. With Alonso failing to get out of the car following the impact, it was clear something was amiss. He was extricated from the car, and after being brought back to the medical centre, was removed from Circuit Di Catalunya to a nearby hospital.
