Palmer enjoys first taste of Lotus E23
– Lotus third driver Jolyon Palmer was in high spirits after his first laps in the team's E23 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Friday.The reigning GP2 champion completed 77 laps en route to the eighth fastest time, with a focus on tyre and aerodynamic assessments.He had just one previous day of experience in Formula 1 machinery, courtesy of Force India at least year's post-season test in Abu Dhabi."Very good.
