Ricciardo puts Red Bull on top on day 2

A soft-tyre run from Daniel Ricciardo during the morning session was enough to see him end day two of the second pre-season test at the Circuit de Catalunya on top. The Infiniti Red Bull Racing driver’s time of 1m24.574s beat Scuderia Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen by just 0.010s, with Williams Martini Racing’s Felipe Massa also within a tenth of second in third. Ricciardo was also the busiest driver on day two as the Australian drove 143 laps, including concentrating for a time on a race simulation. Sergio Perez was fourth fastest for Sahara Force India as they concentrated on tyre work using their 2014 car. He completed 121 untroubled laps in the VJM07. The two Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS...
